MP3 Player for Linux (Early Access)

Desktop MP3 for Linux brings the same retro desktop music player experience as the macOS and Windows versions, built on a cross-platform Electron foundation and currently in early access while we test performance and gather feedback across distributions.

Desktop MP3 plays the MP3 files already stored on your Linux machine, fully offline, with no streaming, no account setup, and no cloud sync required. Point it at your local music folder, and it's ready to go.

The interface carries over the free-form, retro-styled window that fans of early players like Winamp and Sonique will feel at home with, along with a simple, uncluttered playlist. In keeping with Desktop MP3's minimalist approach, there's no equalizer, no visualizer, and no skins. Just play, pause, next, previous, and your music.
